During the wave of national sentiment which was widespread, Azahari Taib had joined the movement to oppose the Malayan Union. He represented SEBERKAS Kedah to the first Malay Congress at the Sultan Sulaiman Club, Kuala Lumpur on the 1-4 Mac 1946 and the creation of UMNO at the palace in Johor Bahru.

MADRASAH Al-Islamiah Haji Ibrahim was established in 1936. This 70 year old madrasah represents one of the oldest of its kind in the district of Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It was founded by Tuan Guru Haji Ibrahim bin Muhammad Dahan, a well known ulama’ of Negeri Sembilan (1907-1997).

Al-Husri also known as Abu Ibrahim bn Ali bin Tamim al-Husri al-Ansar, originated from Qaryawan, a town in northern Africa. His date of birth is not mentioned by historians, however, Carl Brokemann sums up his studies saying that al-Husr was born around 370 Hijrah and dies in the year 413 Hijrah.
