Background

The Editorial Unit under the Professional Da'wah Division was established in mid March 2003.

The main function of the unit is to load material/update yadim.com.my website with latest daily local and foreign news and feature/article (through nine channels. i.e. Commentary, Social, Women, Teens, Family, Ulama, Economy, Science and Technology, and Health). Activities of the unit and all other divisions of YADIM are also loaded.

To cooperate with other Professional Da'wah Division units and other YADIM’s divisions through appropriate channels.

It will cooperate with other divisions to acquire information about their activities and to load them into the website.

Objectives

• To serve as an alternative site for Internet users in getting
information or latest sources on current affairs within and outside
the country.
• To also disseminate non-verbal da'wah information.
• To help raise monetary funds by providing assistance in soliciting
advertisement.
• To launch a working system whereby products/services of other
divisions within YADIM will be disseminated to the community.
• To provide opportunity for skilled/specialist writers from various
fields in disseminating their ideas to the community.
