Dakwah Talk: MADANI-Friendly Mosque Series 6 Addresses the Issue of Moral Decline

JASIN – The YADIM Sejahtera Programme: Dakwah Talk – MADANI-Friendly Mosque Series 6 was held on 3 July at Masjid Al-Barakah, Kesang Luar, Jasin, organised by YADIM Negeri Sembilan and Melaka.

The programme commenced with a pre-Friday sermon (tazkirah) entitled “Destructive Social Ills: Society Is Not Ruined by Major Sins Alone, but by Minor Sins That Are Taken Lightly”, delivered by YADIM Fellow, Ustaz Mohd Sobri Hashim.

During his presentation, he explained that the decline of moral values and the deterioration of ethics within society often begin with minor sins that are regarded as insignificant and repeatedly committed without feelings of guilt or remorse.

He also reminded Muslims to constantly engage in self-reflection, increase their repentance, and safeguard themselves from actions that may lead to wrongdoing, in order to cultivate a society that is faithful, morally upright, and prosperous.

The programme is expected to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving good moral values and avoiding all forms of wrongdoing, while strengthening the role of the mosque as a centre for the dissemination of knowledge, character development, and the enhancement of brotherhood in support of the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
