- Act as YADIM’s legal advisor and provide legal advice on matters referred to the Unit.
- Disseminate information on amendments to laws that are in force and applicable to YADIM.
- Draft and review key internal legal instruments and regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOUs), to safeguard YADIM’s interests.
- Interpret laws, conduct legal research, and undertake legal studies.
- Ensure fair legal proceedings and appeals involving criminal, civil, and industrial cases by or against YADIM through appointed or recommended legal counsel.
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of legal advocacy programmes.
